Fuel pump blows circuit breaker
My landrover D1, 1997, is blowing circuit breakers. Its the 15 amp up in the engine bay.
How do I check to see if the pump is still fine?

Blowing the fuse is a sign it's starting to fail. When they start to go they draw more current and blow the fuse.

Also, how long has it been since you replaced the fuel filter, may have too much back pressure on the pump, possible.

The pump shuts off once the operating pressure, so that wouldn't cause it to draw a higher amperage.

How many miles are on your truck?
Could a poor ground possibly be causing this?

I would think a corroded ground could cause an increased current draw.

An bad ground will impede current flow, not increase the flow.
