That would indicate stock gearing.
Buy a floor jack and some jack stands. Anybody who works on their Rover needs them.

Default Grenaded the Detroit Locker

When the rear Detroit Locker let go it also snapped both rear axles! It was set up this way as I had bought it from the original owner. The axles were stock. No front locker. Stock gearing. I had switched to Cooper STT 35" tires and that's all it took. I was planning to go with better and tougher anyway!

I drove out using front wheel drive only, from way back in Chiva Falls, Tucson, AZ.

The new set up is cool! The parts arrive from GBRutah.com later this week. ARB air lockers front and rear. 4.43 gearing with the reverse front. Front and rear diffs with thrust bolt mod (support under pinion/ring gear contact area to combat flexing while rock crawling). HD waisted axles for the rear.

I've never driven the D1 with stock gearing/tire ratios. It's had 32" since shortly after I bought it. Slightly larger than stock tires were on it that were trash and I had replaced them quickly.

I'll report back as to drive-ability on the highway and off road. I can't wait... AAAAAAH! It's going to be like Christmas in March.
