Please find attached the GEMS engine management manual, includes codes and how they are calculated, etc. For 96-99 D1 and other vehicles. aka ecu ecm engine computer cpu

Also background material on earlier Lucas versions

Thanks for the GEMS! I read just about the whole thing this afternoon then went out and cleaned my IACV.

Wish I had found this info a long time ago!

haha dont have one yet BUT with that said I do have a 95 d1 donor that is going to become something else in the hopefully soon future.

Just read thru the fuel injection systems manual. Covers 13cu 14cu 14cux and gems. Pretty sweet.

I've read though that manual several years ago, the GEMS system is pretty sweet, defaults for almost everything, so if a sensor fails you can still finish your safari.
Once the mall crawler (the DII) came out defaults went away.
