Had you had a Hi-Lift you could have jacked up the back of the truck and stuck logs under the wheels.
Then do the same with the front, drive forward until you either drive out or get stuck again.
Then repeat.

If you start out in lo-locked before you drove onto the sand you may not have gotten stuck at all.

Make sure you grease all of your u-joints to get all the sand out of them.

 

That would have been the plan.

And I was in low lock when I got stuck..

Or bolt a winch mount onto your frame and then cut a hole in your bumper and run fase fairlead for the synthetic rope.
