You change the screw in fitting in the intake to same size as the metal pipe coming from heater core

ANother good idea. I did get it out to access that intake bolt below it easier.

I'm sure Trevor has the hose for dirt cheap. The heater in/out hoses were less than $5. AB has the short one for $5 as well
