Default Has anyone painted replacement part

I've been trying to fix my Discovery. I finally received the part that goes under the headlight. It needs to be painted though... Has anyone painted a replacement part for the Discovery before? I have painted two different vehicles before but I am still curious to know what others have done.

I swapped out my busted grill with a salvage one from a green Disco. Painted that bottom color matched portion with automotive rattle can black from Advance Auto Parts, looks great. I believe the two parts you have are the units that hold the base of the grille in place. I just passed up two of those (grey - unpainted) in the salavge yard - how much did you spend for them?

It was $35. I think I paid $48 shipped with taxes. Did you see a grill? I need a grill.... I need a lot of things.

I painted the headlight finisher on my Epsom green truck to match. Came out WAY better than I expected. Forrest green rattle can from autozone and 2-3 coats of clear coat.

The passenger headlight finisher here was rattle can to match.

I really like using products from Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Paint Touch Up Accessories | AutomotiveTouchup | 888-710-5192 They match colors perfectly. I have also used their aerosol cans. They usual special nozzle that mimics using a spray gun. I had bought Porsche GT3 green from them and sprayed my s2000. I also had used their aerosol cans for touch ups. It came out really good.
