Has anyone successfully mended their transmission cooler lines?

I paid $30, for a new hose. I agree with re routing the line, wold hate to have FOD fly up there and put a damper on your day, so to speak...

Our local NAPA makes lines. I plan on removing one of my oil cooler lines and taking it to them to see what they say. Unless they are some weird thread count or double-reverse metric inverted flare...it has to be cheaper. I'll report back with my findings.

I recently posted something on here about a Power Block TV episode where they did that very thing and it has a link to some really high grade fuel lines material that is manufactured by a subsidiary of EdelBrock. They had some phenominal products for fuel or hydraulic hoses but they were pricey as well.

I dumped out my old tool boxfrom the 70's last night on the floor of the garage to clean it up and reorganize it. I found two really nice aviation style padded steel cable or tubing clamps buried in the bottom. Wish I had several more similar clamps to support the fuel lines I made and rerouted along the frame member from the tank to the engine bay.

The trans temp sensor on the DI is not in line, it is mounted on the trans.
