headlight switch????
Ok so my headlights went out the other night . I had all other functions fine except my high beams won't stay on unless I hold the switch and headlight would only stay on for a few seconds if I wiggled the switch . I took the old switch apart tried cleaning it still a no go .. Where can I get the best price on a new or pre enjoyed switch at any ideas? I'm in n.j and don't think many junk yards have rovers around here. Thanks

Are you sure it's the switch? You can pull it out and check continuity to make sure it's working. Since your highs work I'd double check the switch then make sure you have a good connection between the switch and the bulbs
The switch I don't doubt has a burned connector because of high resistance. Turns the white switch brown and weakens the connector spade and the crimp on wire terminal. When it melts it deforms. Deforming leads to one holding the switch......
So you can either try to remedy, or if not all that creative, replace.
