Thats why you fog them with oil first, if rusted in place it will break it free.

Got some solvent, rags, and wooden scrapers in there last night and it's cleaning up surprisingly well. Dropped some penetrating oil down the edges, I'll give that a few more shots and then try and spin it. What's the size of the nut on the crank pulley?

yup, i know. ive seen it not work a few times.

worth a shot either way i guess.
