Default Heater Climate Control Bulb Replacement?

Hello Good People,

While driving at night I have noticed my heater climate controls looks very dim. I'd like to get inside there and replace the bulb. Does anyone know if its face panel can simply pop off or would I need to remove the entire unit?

When it comes to removing a 20yr plastic part I only hope the tabs don't crumble upon removing.

I imagine a 2721 bulb?
T.I.A.

You can just remove the front cover plate (BTR6495) and replace the bulb(there is only 1). Have at it
The bulb is a 12v/1.2W

No worries. The bulb part number is RTC3635 AB has them for $2.95 but I'm sure you can get them at any Napa etc.
> I didn't see it in your 1st post, but YES the 2721 bulb is a direct fit.

I had some 2721 bulbs from another project, plus I remembered picking up a 3in1 green led which should look wonderful in the evening.

The LED should work no worries. But at least you know it's not major surgery to swap it out if the LED starts to flash/blink whatever. Good Luck!

Exactly!
I should be good to go, I replaced the clock with a RR clock and immediately added the same 3in1 led with no flickering.

Thanks!
