Heater works then doesnt

Having heater problems blows hot for a few minutes then cold then hot again. New heater control valve and hoses. Bled air from system temp gauge runs at 1/2 with no problems. Any suggestions?

From: Grand Rapids MI

Incorrect belt routing.
Bad water pump.
Bad thermostat.
Air in the cooling system/low on coolant.
Partially clogged heater core.
