I have Disco 1 1992 year, and one day engine can not start. Anyone have manual for Land rover discovery before 1993 year?
v8 3.5l engine.

in RAVE not included disco before 1993 year. Other fusebox and relay.

If no spark, maybe part of the ignition system (ingnition amplifier module) used on some early models.

 

Spark wery good, and first day starter rotating fast, i chardged accu tonite, next day no rotating! Only sownd from fuel pump relay.

 

We need more information, what does the engine do?
Does it crank over fine with the starter but just not start?
Have you verified that you have fuel pressure at the engine?
Have you verified that you have spark?

On the right side of the engine is a schrader valve (looks like a tire valve) with a cover on it, remove that cover and using a fuel pressure tester check for fuel pressure, attach the gauge, crank the engine over while a friend watches the gauge.
You need to be around 35psi. (2.4bar)
You can also cheat and use a dial tire pressure gauge.

Second remove one spark plug and lead wire, reattach the lead wire to the spark plug and lay it on the exhaust manifold (extractor) and have your friend try and start the engine, does the spark plug spark?

Yes, only first day of problems, next day no. Accu charged.

No, but fuel pump is new.

My engine cannot have this valve.

Before this trouble i leave key in car on pos 3 withowt starting ingine about 10 minits - this not be cause?
