Help identify a part.

hello everyone, kindly help me identify the part encircled in the photo below, please note the crack so i plan to replace it but am having a hard time looking for the part online. thanks in advance!

Contact dismantler Paul Grant, who posts on here often. I believe it is called a treadstrip, and comes in several colors.

Its the carpet tread plate/carpet finisher if you google interior trim you should turn up a few examples.

in U.S. cars it is a door sill or sill plate, on a rover I would go with what buzz said
