Default High Mi fluid and filter changes

Hello. Can anyone forward me to a list of recommended filter and fluid changes for a high mileage disco 1?
Im fixing to change out all my fluids and filters for the winter.
I always swear by lucas oil products for my oil and fuel treatment but id like to try the others in all of my systems.

Differential Oil? weight and manufacturer?
Coolant type?
brake fluid type and manufacturer?

Is the lucas power steering additive compatiable with the AFT steering system?

any help is appreciated

D1 uses ATF for PS fluid, so Lucas tranny leak stop or fluid is OK.

Older units seem to run a little quieter with 85W140 gear lube for transfer case and diffs.

You'll want to service your swivel CV joints, they were origianally oil, but some switch to #00 greae.

Oil Shell Rotella 15W40 dino, or 5W40 syn (if you are in a cold area), plus jumbo filter, like the MANN / Purolator.

DOT4 brake fluid - flush and change it all.

Peak 50/50 premix coolant. An elder D1 could use a good radiator flush and rod out to remove calcium.

3-5,000 miles for engine oil.
Trans fluid every 30,000, trans filter every 60k.
Diffs and t-case same time as trans.
Fuel filter too.
Engine coolant every 2 years no matter the miles.
Same with brake fluid.

I use Rotella, 5w-40 in the winter, 15w-40 in the summer, change it every 5,000 miles.
I use whatever gear oil is on sale, 85w-140.
I use Valvoline Maxlife ATF and Prestone or Valvoline brake fluid.
As long as you use a good brand what brand you buy makes no difference.
As long as you use a good brand you dont need snake oil.
I have never used a additive, ever.

Age of car or the number of miles means nothing and you do not need to increase your service intervals based on age or miles.

Search for Disco Mike's High Mileage service list, it'll tell you what you need to do.
