How To Adjust Your Swivel Pin Preload

I have to adjust my preload on my swivel pins. Can the bearing on the upper be replaced without removing the housing and all that? Just pull it out?

If one bearing is bad. They should both be changed. Plus the wheel bearings inspected/repacked. As far as I remember (it's been awhile) I don't think you can simply pluck the out of the assembly. I belive it needs to be tapped out from the bottom.
