How To Remove Discovery Door Panel Photos

The door panels in the Disco are made out of structural foam. On the back are plastic clips that have snap on tips which push into plastic holes in the metal door panel. Use care when prying out, while a putty knife will work, a plastic upholstery tool from parts store will allow you to pry on both sides of the fastener. Makes a popping sound as it comes out (pop-pop-pop-pop). Pull too hard and you rip out the plastic base. Goes back on with a push and squeeze, no hammer needed.
If you have not taken a panel off to work on door lock, window regulator, wiring, or just to find that annoying rattle from parts in the bottom, or sloshing from drains blocked.... you won't "discover" how much damage you can do. Work gently.
