Default Howl like noise coming from rear passenger side

Hey Everyone,

I've noticed a howl like noise that is coming from what seems to be the rear right side of the car. I can tell that it is getting louder as well. It's almost like a whooshing noise. It's not a clanking or squeaking noise.

Could this be a wheel bearing? I just recently did a brake, brake disc, and wheel bearing job. Since though I've put more than 500 miles on the car. But I just want to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Thanks for any help!

Did you replace the bearing races in the rotor, or only drop in new bearings? If you only drop in new bearings and did not replace the races, then abnormal wear can occur quickly. Also need to ensure the bearing retaining nut and washers were installed correctly, with proper tightness. My mechanic describes the noise a failing wheel bearing makes as like a jet plane.
