Default I know discoverys are slow but........

Hello,
I think I have a big problem. My DI 95 will not coast at all. When I was driving home from work today I timed my deceleration time. From 65 mph it takes me 2.43 seconds to slow down to 55mph. That to me seems like a problem. It feels like something is forcing me to slow down. I can't really determine where its coming from though. It is not pulling to the right or left which makes me think that it is not a caliper issue. I also have noticed (just now) that when I start my engine The transfer case shifter **** vibrates a little. It isn't like its pulsating or anything. I was wondering about wheel bearings and swivels. I have greased my drive shafts (in june) and did my swivels in june as well with grease. They do leak but not too bad. I will check the level tomorrow.
Thoughts??

In no particular order:

Does it change if you slip tranny into "N" position? Tranny fluid level and filter change in recent past? Ever?

Remove ABS fuse to take ABS out of the equation?

Service diff oil? Recently? Whine? (and not the wife's "Are you working on that truck again??)

Use IR thermometer, drive truck to a safe location and coast to a stop without brakes. Read all four disks. Ones on same axles should be about the same. Axle to Axle should be about the same if no brakes were applied to stop. Brakes partially on?

Parking brake out of adjustment?

Mine has a similar problem - 0 to 60 in 2.43... gallons.

Tire pressure.
Windows/sunroofs open.
Does it slow down this quick if you shift the trans into neutral?
Also it sounds like your t-case is not all the way in gear.

I have done transmission fluid in the last month. I will take abs fuse out to see if that makes a difference. Haven't done the diff oil but will do soon. I believe its pretty simple as long as my FILL plug opens up FIRST. I am not married so no WHINE will happen! What is an IR thermometer? Could be the parking break. I did use it this weekend while changing a tire. Brakes could be partially on but they have to be equally on. Otherwise I would have a pull to one side?????
Thanks.

Windows/ sunroofs are closed. Tire pressure is 40 in front 40 in rear. I will see if it slows down this quick when the trans is in neutral.

Parking brake applies to drive shaft, not a single wheel. It is that big round can near the transfer case.

An Infrared thermometer is one of those devices you point at an object and it reads out the temp, without touching it. Far more accurate than the Mark 1 Palm Reader.

Parking brake sounds like a place to start.
