I know this sounds stupid, but how do you change a tire?

I agree but can we confirm they fit the original alloys.

Those will work, you originally said "steel lug nuts" which to me meant lug nuts for steel wheels not alloys.

They work fine on original alloys, us Range Rover boys get those lug nuts from the factory instead of the lame disco capped units.

That is what I have now, the original Range Rover Classic solid lug nuts. Do not know about any others.

Here is the question of the day.....

I have a steel spare wheel... If the lug nuts are different for steel wheels than they are for allow wheels, how am I expected to safely drive should I ever get a flat if all I have are the dorky capped lug nuts?

Obviously the answer is:

You should have the same type of spare as the other 4 wheels...doh!

Sorry for the SA answer
