i always use the hose coming off the throttle body just above the IACV. unplug it from the driver's side valve cover, twist it around so it faces up and slowly dump in the Seafoam. a small funnel helps.

I've used the oil sep tube, use some pliers to squeeze the hose so it doesn't suck it to fast and stall the engine.

This is what is inside the intake. If you have too much gunk, from plugged up PCV system and previous owners that did not maintain things, then you may have more than Sea Foam can handle. I have SeaFoamed at least four times. This is what I found when I started the HG job. The PCV line is that bottom left.

I just had oil changed about 500 miles ago and then used seafoam treatment in my crankcase. Do I now need to change out the oil again??

Your choice. Depends on how dark oil looks. If still clear the filter is getting the gunk.
