Default Intake gasket replacement

I am new to Rovers, and I just bought a 98 Discovery. I am a master Audi tech, but I have never worked on Rovers. I know that the intake/valley pan gasket is leaking. I found a website that sells a kit that includes the intake gasket, end seals, and valve cover gaskets. However, it doesn't include the plenum chamber gasket which I understand is just high-tack sealant. I also want to change the valve cover gaskets, but what is Bostik 1775 impact adhesive? Do I need this? What sealant should I use on the intake "end gaskets?"

I would just get some gasket maker from autozone

You can also find all of the gaskets you need on ebay ....they are same as those from dealer...

Now what is the sealant for? Is that what I am supposed to put on the valve cover gasket? Is that what I am supposed to put on the manifold gasket end seals?

I use something tacky on the rocker cover gaskets only on the side that goes against the rocker covers, to hold them in place during fitting.

Also, both AB (Atlantic British) and RN (Rovers North) sell the factory sealant if you wanted it. I dont know if it really matters which sealant you choose.

I have a lot of Audi oil pan sealant, and I know that is good stuff. I will probably just use that.

Also, the "factory" sealant doesn't seem to work that good!

Well, Rovers (English in general) are known for leaks. Who knows how long it has been leaking. German cars leak too, but they put "belly pans" on to keep the oil off the driveway.
