Default Interestin No Start Problem Solved...

I have a 1995 Discovery 5 speed with 124K on the clock. Great Truck. A few days ago I went to start it and it turned over almost starting, but wouldn't run. I have been looking everywhere for the answer...

Good spark
Fuel pressure well with in specs.
leak down OK.
Injector test out firing fine using a noid.
Replace spark plugs which are wet from fuel.
Measure all voltage points, coil, and pick up, OK.
Check timing.

When I try to start the engine it almost wants to start. Tail pipe smells of fuel. I decide to check the oil for gas. No smell of gas, but it's 3 qts. low. The truck does like to mark it's territory, but not much. No smoke on start up or when running. It has been down 1 qt. before when I changed the oil every 5K...

I put 3 qts. in and the truck starts right up like nothing ever happened...

Five months later, is the truck still running back to normal?

My Discovery is running great with no hiccups. I did replace the weak alternator but that was unrelated to the original problem...

I still can't figure it out. I am getting close to an oil change and it will try to see if it will start with 3 qts oown...

I'll post the results...
