Default Issues going up hills

Hello,

I have a 95 Discovery V8 3.9 liter engine. I used to be able to climb up hills easily, but in the last month I have noticed that I cannot. I can hit the bottom of a hill (not even steep, just a steady incline) going 65 mph and by the time I get to the top I am maybe doing 45 mph. I have tried flooring it, although I hate doing that, but it still does nothing. When I get to the top, I can feel the engine finally accelerating. What could be the issue?

Thanks, Kelsee

The vacuum advance on your distributor is bad or the vacuum hose that goes to it is bad.

What could cause the same symtoms on a '98 D1 with coil pack instead of distributor?
