Jerry can mount
No it did not, none of them do.
I have searched hi and lo and this is the best one for roof rack mounting and no hardware.

Like someone said weld two flat bars on the cross members of the rack. Mount in the center and use flat headed bolts with the holes already in the can holder. Give it some strength if you do hit some overhead branches and such. Personally I think they are safer on the back as well, but whatever floats your boat.
Thoughts if you have your sun roof open and can breaks (crazy I know) then the gas get into the car. Or getting on the roof and tearing up the paint.

I never open my sunroofs, it messes up my hair.
The cans will be mounted to the right side of the rack, out of the way so I can still climb onto the rack from the ladder as I haul stuff up there all the time.
The SD rack is like a pick up truck, only its 7ft in the air.
I dont like the spare tire mount, to much weight on the cargo door, to much stuff to remove to get to the spare and I just plain dont like the looks of it.
I know looking at that rack makes me want one, I would like to find one but I am not even sure where to start to find a used one at a decent price. I am sure it is not hard to build one but having time is the issue.
