I was told by my dealership today that they have to program it. the rave manual procedure is for 96 and older they require 35 dollars to do so.

That procedure didn't work for me either..

Three locksmiths told me it was a dealer only programming..

The local LR dealer wants $60 bucks to do it..

That only works for trucks built before 1996.

Afterwards, the only option right now is dealer or garage that has the ability to reprogram the Theft Alarm.

My D1 uses a one button remote which i dont have. Got a drawer full of other remotes from cars past tried to program those and it didnt work
