Default keyless entry

I just had two fobs programmed to my truck and they work great. Only problem is the drivers door does not work with the fob. All the other doors work as they should. If I manually lock or unlock the drivers door all the others follow. Any ideas?

You are mechanically activating the driver latch and electrically operating the others. Does sound like cleaning is in order.

Alright. I have 5 or so spare lock actuators as well. Ill get on that after I get the latest round of parts pulled and shipped of the parts truck. I have pulled the door panel and check connections. Guess its time to dig in deeper.

Question, is that something you have to get from the dealer? ... I'd really like a fob for my truck

What nuclearw said and does the dealer have to program them or is it a do it yourself thing?

If single button, 1995 and older, you can program it yourself.

Two button, 1996 and newer, requires a special computer.

Could also be the spring in the lock on the door latch going bad, if that breaks the actuator won't actually unlock the door.
