Even though I would almost kill to get a real XD that one is really overpriced even if it seems to be a real XD. It looks like a dump specially with the carpet on the roof rack, rear steel wheel which was probably the spare and probably no spare wheel on the carrier in the back. I'd rather spend 1500$ to build a fake one out of my truck.
I saw one for sale a month ago; 97 Disco XD, no front bumper therefore no brush guard, no engine for...... 2500$. Way overpriced. People in my area tend to overevaluate Land Rovers I also saw a 98 Disco for the very reasonable price of 9500$.

i find absolutely no documentation of a 1997 Kalahari edition anywhere.
As an XD, I would pay him 1000 just for the roof rack and some other bits, but he insists it’s a Kalahari.
