Default Landrover Discover V8i 3.5

Good day,

Could anyone help with advise, my father in-laws Landrover overheats as soon as he drives uphill, when he goes downhill the heat seems to come down a little. What could the problem be?

Thanking you in advance

Many thanks
Anthea

Fan clutch, lack of coolant, etc. Others will chime in that know more than I do.

Plugged radiator lower section can be diagnosed if the lower section stays cold when the upper section is hot.

Maybe you just need to drive faster! Fan clutch problem is more apparent at low speed or in line at a drive-thru.

Fan Clutch or radiator having restricted flow are a pair of the common reasons
