Well, yeah, they are 32"s and look like it from the side.

As mountaingoats pics show though, from the front and back they look like a railroad car

For the OP:

This is my thread showing before/after of new lift and tires.

https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...w-shoes-48848/

This is a 2" suspension lift and 31x10.5x15 tires (almost the same as 265-75-16)

thats what i went with... and i think it looks beefy enough.

small camel cut behind the rears and it doesnt rub anywhere now.

Y'all bein a little disingenuous with the picture angles!

From the side, yeah, they are 32s.

This is the best frontal pic I could find:

Practical? yes. Beefy? not really.

BFG KM2's are known to have a narrow tread width, not to be confused with tire width.
We could probably debate this all day to no avail. The OP will have to decide what his definition of "beefy" is and what he thinks looks best.
Anything 265 and wider will most definitely rub on the radius arms at full lock. The will mean reduced turn radius if the steering stops are adjusted. Since the OP mentioned this is his wife's car I would definitely think twice about a wider tire/limiting turning radius. If she's used to the truck turning tightly and all of a sudden it doesn't.......... Well, I can just see problems in parking lots.

The pics are great. Thank you all. The "look" is to satisfy the wifes requirements.

I think the moderate lift and larger tires will work. Noise is an issue with me so I may not go with something real agressive in tread pattern.

I dont have alot of driving time to confirm for sure, but I havent noticed any radius rubbing on mine.

I have aftermarket rims with a different backspacing than stock though, so that could be what prevents it.

a better front end shot.

no purposeful misinformation was intended on my part...

i like the skinny tire "look". i dont want it looking like a mud boggin' suburban.

as far as noise, wear, etc ive been really happy with the BFGs. the truck previously had a smaller set on it, and they wore great, i suspect these will last plenty long.

Fishy, what suspension does your friend have? Also, It'd be interesting to see the 235/85 Duratracs from a head on angle since I imagine they'd look wider than other equivalents.
