Hi there, new to the forum and also new to LR... The Disco that I bought have the same part broken! Did you find something? I searched everywhere and only complete units

Abran, do you have the part available as you said??

I have the part, but I'm in Japan until the end of the month.

If you need it before then, search for Paul Grant. He parts out land rovers.

If not I can get it for you around the 28th.

How about this, its $199 but I would see about re keying the lock:

or here is just the handle, I advise you get it now due to how hard it is to find. Just have two keys and problem solved, thats what I would do or get it re keyed:

Default drivers outer lock

hey bro I just joined this site today. ive had a lock issue lately and just this morn I saw for sale on ebay in the uk a lock set like you need for 25 dollars and I think free shipping for 25 dollars. best deal youll ever get. just remember when ordering from uk the drivers side is on the right side so you need to look for passenger side front left.

HEY GUYS....SOLD THE DISCO.....
BUT WANTED TO ADD MY FIX
AND A WAY TO DISABLE THE ALARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HERE IS WHAT I DID TO FIX ISSUE:

I PULLED THE POS PLASTIC RING/LOBE DEAL THAT CRACKS......
AND MADE ONE OUT OF ALUMINUM....USED A DREMEL ,IT WAS VERY EASY!
AND TOOK ABOUT 45 MINUTES AS I TOOK MY TIME,AND KEPT MATCHING ORIG WITH METAL CHUNK...........HONESTLY,IT WAS EASY GUYS!!!!DREMEL AND A COUPLE BIT TIPS(SANDER/GRINDER/CUT OFF WHEEL)
SORRY ,NO PICS.......SAME THING JUST ALUMINUM!!!LOLOLOL

HOW TO DISARM ALARM:
I ACTUALLY FOUND THIS BY SURPRISE!!!!
WHEN THIS RING/LOBE BREAKS....YOU CAN NOT UNLOCK YER DOOR...AND IF YOU GO IN PASSENGER SIDE,THE ALARM GOES OFF!!!!!!
WELL................WHEN I WAS TAKEN HANDLE APART TO GET RING/LOBE OFF....... THE PART THAT HAS THE WIRES GOING TO IT,THAT THE LOBE HITS......... HAS A LIL TINY WHITE/CLEAR PLASTIC BALL........THIS BALL HITS ELECTRONIC SWITCH INSIDE TO ARM OR DISARM ALARM.....
WHEN I WAS SEEIN IF NEW ALUMINUM ONE WAS WORKING SMOOTHLY.....THE LIL BALL POPPED OUT!!!!!!........WELL I ALREADY HAD ALARM OFF...........SO I LEFT IT OUT FOR A BIT,TESTING IF ANY ISSUES.....NONE!!! ALARM WOULD NOT TURN ON WITH KEY IN DOOR....NO MORE HONKING!!!!!!!!!!REPLACING BALL MADE IT BACK TO NORMAL! AND ALARM WOULD TURN ON/OFF AS IT SHOULD!
SO THERE IS A WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! TECHNICALLY..........ANYWHO I SOLD IT,AND JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE WHAT I LEARNED IN MY ENDEAVOR WITH A DISCO
I WISH I HAD LEARNED THIS SOONER!!!!

PS: YA CAN'T FIND THESE STUPID PLASTIC PARTS!!!(OR IT IS DANG HARD TOO)............ MAKE THEM!!! IT WILL BE BETTER THAN FACTORY!!! AND VERY EASY!!!!
HAVE FUN DISCO DUDES!!!!

For anyone else searching this, here is a link for a replacement part -https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1306202 This will give you the cam and the pawl,
( STC1220 part number which I was able to verify with the online Russian parts catalog)(the pawl is the plastic "clip" thate junebug was searching for) which you can send to a 3D printer and have shipped direct to you.
I needed the cam, which I was able to send the file to a shop here in Utah and it was returned to me in 4 days for $7, freight included. Perfect fit. I requested ABS, but you can specify other materials also. The same designer has plans for headlight adjuster sockets also. Check it out - highly recommended!! Russ

Default For those who might be looking for this pary. Here's where I bought it.

I found the part (Part# STC1220) at the below link.
https://www.roversnorth.com/parts/st...=yes&cartqty=1
The total cost including the shipping to my address in California was around $22. Good luck!
