Default Long crank, fuel problem

Hey everyone, a few weeks ago the fuel hose popped off my fuel pump and the truck sputtered out (because 6 years ago I thought a zip tie would be good enough) After that the rover has 35 psi at the fuel rail but it take about 10 seconds of cranking for the engine to start, if I put the key to position #2 and let the fuel pump prime the cranking is lessened to about 3 seconds of cranking, once I'm driving around if I turn off the engine and it sits for less then 30 mins it fires normally. Ideas?

Not sure if these would solve it but the first things I'd check are the fuel filter and vac hose to the fuel pressure regulator. Get the 'easy' stuff out of the way first.

Already replaced all the vacuum lines and fuel filter, it runs fine at wide open throttle without choking, it's as if air seeps into the fuel line while it is sitting while off

Any ideas on what part of the truck I should troubleshoot next?
