Sounds like the prequel to Brokeback Mountain! Like riding a motorcycle all day wasn't hard enough on their butts!!

I did not see BD Mountain, nor do I plan to.

Did you ever See Easy Rider?

Have you ever ridden a scooter? (I call choppers and other street bikes Scooters)

I put almost 40K on my Yamaha. But that was many year ago. (70's)

I saw an episode of Orange County Choppers where they went to Australia as guest of Russell Crowe. He went on a huge ride with them and they built a chopper for his Rugby Team.

I would love to have one of Paul Sr's bikes. But I would need to win the lottery to do that.

I haven't seen either. I'm just bustin' chops.

And I was called crude, rude, and blunt! They ain't seen Jack.

And if they ever rode a scooter, it was most likely a Chushman.

They are working up the courage to try Vespa's.

I had a friend in Key West that rode an Indian in one of those Ball of Death cages with two other bikes going around with him. Have you ever seen one of those circus sideshows like that?

He totally missed everyone's point regarding the negative factors of the LR Brush Guard and thought he was being insulted.

Little did he realize if me or any others on here where trying to insult him it would not be something so minor as to say that his choice was bumpers was ignorant. It would be much more cleary stated. He has yet to see an insult from me or any of the other fine members of this distinguished group of extraordinary gentleman and LR Owners.

We were just sharing experiences. One day he will look back upon that and realize the truth......... Instead of calling them ramblings...........
OMG! Not this again? I thought we agreed to move past it?
1. I already had the brush guard when his thread began. Even if I hadn't, would choose to ignore your advise and buy it anyway. I like the way it looks. I don't plan on smashing into anything, and if I do, so be it. I'll deal with that IF it ever happens. Old people don't usually reverse into me, deer, cows, trees, ufos, or anything else, don't regularly jump in front of me when I'm driving. I don't need a 200lbs (there's varying opinions on how much a "real" bumper would actually weigh, so I'll stick to my original estimate)piece of metal on the front end o my truck to feel rugged and safe. I don't plan to ever mount a winch, which would be the only reason I would ever consider such a heavy ditty bumper.
2. You sir, sidetracked the thread by throwing in a totally irrelevant comment which WAS directed at me.
3. Easy rider is pretty good, but if you love it as much as you say you do, you can elaborate a little more on the plot. I haven't seen it in a while, but wasn't their goal to make it to Madri Gras with something smuggled in the tank of the chopper? Drugs or money, I forget which.
4. I will wager that my brush guard will last longer than your truck runs. That's not a put down on your truck, just my confidence in the condition of my brush guard. Your truck will need a major repair before my brushguard disintegrates or falls (or gets pushed back) onto my hood and totlals my truck. Book it!
