i was toolin in the rover yesterday, just messin around, nothing to stringent, Was in low gear and just idlin, wanna say i was in park, and i got a solid town coming from somewhere..Whats this solid tone mean ? Anyone know ? Before i forget, tossed it back in high and no tone, ran around in high for a few then tossed it back into low, and no tone..so im scratchin my head atm.

 

the transfer case probably slipped into neutral and that tone is just to remind you your t case is in neutral.

T-case was not fully engaged.
Even in park the truck will roll down a hill with the t-case in neutral.

anyone has any idea why my truck doesnt make any beeping sound other than lights on or key in?

mine doesn't either, the least of my worries is wondering why my truck doesn't annoy me by beeping at me. it has so many other options to annoy me.

lol i actually like it. mine doesnt make ALL the noises i hear on youtube vids and in my friends range rover but oh well
