Default Low speed vibration - U-Joints?

Vehicle: 1995 D1 with the 5-speed trans. Not my daily driver.

Symptom: Low speed vibration, between 1-5 mph, definitely feels like drive train. Typically happens when I'm starting from a stop, feels rough and vibrates a bit, and smooths out as I got faster or if I let off the throttle.

Have not gone over 35-40 mph since it started, so I'm not sure what it feels like at highway speeds.

Started one night last week. This past weekend I replaced all of the suspension bushings except the upper rear links and changed the fluid in the T-case and both differentials but didn't think to wiggle/check out the joints while I was under there.

Symptoms persist after new stuff from the weekend.

Other known issue that is waiting for new parts to come in, the drivers rear caliper is sticking and one of the pads is worn all the way down.

Do you guys think I'm on the right track with the universal joints?

Should go without saying, but it's parked till I get it figured out.

If the cailiper sticking warped the rotor it could be that. Easy test for propshaft is to pull one? engage the CDL and test drive. If the vibration is still present, repeat with just the one you removed, installed.
But at that low a speed I'd be surprised if it's the propshaft unless it's totally knackered.

rear drive shaft rotoflex did it for me. they fall apart after the years. Maybe also the rear axel centered bushing causing axel rocking. If you have a lift be sure to replace the rotoflex with the conversion (not a rotoflex at all).

happy roving

I have a rebuilt rear u joint shaft for sale. You would just need a 4 bolt flange. A u-joint shaft is a must if you lift it.
