Hey so i am swapping my transfer case and am rebuilding the bearings and such in the new used unit (suffix G). i need a ftc4850 input gear but my original unit has no PTO gear teeth on it and i cant seem to find a match. i can obtain one that does have the PTO teeth though. Can i use a pto cut input gear in place of my non pto unit? i dont see why not but dont want to spend 100 bucks on a new gear to find out the hard way, thanks for the help.

 

update for anyone who might have the same question in the future. i emailed dave from Ashcroft transmissions and he said it doesn'tl matter if the input gear has the PTO teeth or not.
