Lucas ATF fix or PS leak stop
Which should you use for the D1? The Lucas ATF Fix or the PS leak stop. My PS gearbox is leaking from the bottom. ATF fix is a HUGE bottle and I would not probably need even half of it.

IMHO the Lucas won't work on a power steering leak. I tried it and no luck. The Lucas is good on some of the other leaks but not the PS. The ATF should help but I would personally go with White Shepard. You will have to order it (I got mine from Amazon). It is the best stop leak for the PS system. My leak was pretty large and now.....no more leak. Good luck!
Read the bottles of whatever you buy before using and then complaining. Lucas is for internal leak and valve issues, not external leaks.
If you want to stop an external p/s seal leak, go buy a bottle of White Sheperds p/s stop leak made by universal products, it works real well.

I wasn't gripping Mike. You and I had this discussion when I had my leak and that is why I went with the White Shepard. I was just trying to make the same point you were but couldn't remember exactly what you had said about internal vs. external so that's why I said what I did. I was trying to steer him to the White Shepard.
