We need to be 100% clear.
Do you need the power steering pump? Which is what has the pulley on it.
1994-1999 Discovery I Power Steering Pump

Or do you need the steering box? Which is what turns the wheels.
1994-1999 Discovery I Steering Gear Box

The pump bolts to the engine, the steering box bolts to the frame.

I need the power steering Box. Based off the diagram you Spike sent me. The part that leaks is located on the frame.

Yeah. That was my fault for the confusion from jump street. You described the box and I called it the pump by accident. Sorry to mix everyone up. Def the box. Let me know if the stop leak works. Mine is a little swept too

I had the same problem. Tried a few different brands of stop leak, but I actually did get mine to stop leaking after the 3rd attempt. Best of luck to ya!

The power steering uses atf not power steering fluid, if you used power steering fluid its thinner and may promote leaks. Just making sure you know.

Hmm generally speaking how bad was the leak from the steering box for everyone else? What Im wondering is weather or not stop leak will be able to hold back a moderate fluidly leak? Is it capable? Secondly I have been using poswer steering fluid :s Have briefly looked around for ATF with no luck. Where is a good place to get it?

Auto Trans for the power steering fluid? Wierd. Rover tech keeps getting stranger and stranger! But I love it.

Will ANY brand of ATF work for either my transmission or my power steering? Or should it be "AMSOIL ATF"?
