Default Manual Seat Conversion

I'm thinking over converting my electric seats to manual since the switches are half broken, to reduce complexity, increase leg room, and use the exmoor re-trim kit. My concern is the headrests. They look too low and extremely uncomfortable. How do you guys like your manual seats?

Works fine for me, one less thing to worry about. I wish I had roll up windows.

And an 'alluminum' sunroof!

I have the manual seats and they are just fine. I don't like the **** for adjusting the angle of the seatback but otherwise they are quite comfy. At 5'7" leg room isn't much of a problem for me though...

We have a '95 with manual seats and a '97 with electric. Every time I recline one of the 97's I think to myself, "What am I going to do if it decided to die while it's reclined?"
I prefer manual.

Pull the "speedometer" cable out of the motor, chuck up in drill, move to comfortable spot. I drove from Savannah to your garden spot and that big self serve lot off Moreland and I-285, got two passenger seats, and replaced both of mine. About $23 each. Lumbar **** just clears driver door pillar. Of course I had other business in the area, would not advise a 500 mile trip for seats, but junk yarding adds another piece to travel planning...
