MJ 98 A/C fans Part2 OBDII
Mr. George, any local parts store will have 160-180-and 195 for the D1 blocks, it also fits around 3000 various GM. See Duralast/Thermostat (15358) | 1998 Land Rover Discovery 8 Cylinders 2 4.0L MFI OHV | AutoZone.com
Taking it for a LONG run today to see how it does.
Thanks you
George P.
Did not do well IN TOWN on main roads 55 to 60 201-205 in town after 30 mile run 214 to 221 then dropped to 219. SO We are putting in a NEW cooling system, Radiator, 180 stat, hoses, water pump. Not playing with this one at all.
Mr. George,
Also, since you just changed cooling fans, and things seem worse, try this one:
Switch on truck, but don't crank. Turn on AC and interior fan. That should make electric fans start up at the condenser. Hold plastic bag at the grille. If it blows forward, away from grille, fan wires polarity is reversed, and they are subtracting cooling, instead of adding to it. When you crank truck, bag should still be sucked toward grille, unless main fan is mounted reversed. It can happen.
