can someone take a pic of the inside of a 94-95 keyless remote for me, and tell me the type of battery, i need something to reference fixing the battery contacts.

That helps alot. So the positive attaches to the board in 3 spots and is the negative just the black ring under it or am I missing metal there too. I'll post a pic of what I have when I get home so you can see what I'm up against.

 

 

See what I mean the bracket is gone, from your pic I can see its attached on both sides, and I'm assuming its attached in the back too. Is the circle with the maltese cross the only thing under the bracket?

As far as I can see there is not anything else under the + thats connected in 3 places, just the black cross.

You may also be missing the plastic isolation that surrounds the edge of the battery, take a look at the attached pic.
