New Bumpers! What do you guys think?
The bracket may be for the UK hitch. The US hitch is different. http://www.devon4x4.com/components/c...c04f371d6a.jpg
Thanks guys! I think I'm just gonna get a stock rear bumper. Justin at Lucky8 was telling me that the rear bumpers are pretty stout. I just didnt want to spend $700+ on a rear bumper since I spent close to that on a front. Rocksliders en route too if I can muster it up.
Do you guys recommend the tree bars or no tree bars? And what the heck are the used for? I off-road now and get snagged on the under sills occasionally thats why im getting rocksliders. But are tree bars like side steps? lol Ive seen a few jeeps have them (im the only rover in my area it seems like lol) but i always thought they were side steps.
Side steps are a benefit.
The main purpose is to keep trees and rocks off the body work in tight areas.
I prefer the tree bars, they also keep careless people in parking lots from denting your car. However they really screw up the careless persons door in some cases. I like to think of it as good training for them to pay attention in the future.

Stock rear bumper? They are in no way stout at all. The corners bend up pretty easily. So easy that when my stock rear corner bent up I was able to whack it back down straight with a few blows of the 8lb sledge hammer.
I think Justin meant that it would hold and since its so cheap I wouldnt mind it being dinged and dented. I havent decided yet, im gonna wait and see how LRDIRECT handles this bumper before I say im gonna go out and do something. What rear bumper do you have Fish?
RockStar Fab front and rear bumpers. They're tube bumpers but they're built stout! The corners/wings are braced back to the frame.
