Those plates came with the TF bumper fish. So they are backing plates? I need to get some mounting plates then huh?

Why do you need mount plates?, if those are backing plates they are just to spread the load from the bolt heads like heavy washers to prevent deformation of the bumper by bolts trying to pull through

Depends on what you do, I would say sliders are more important. A stock rear bumper is much easier to replace than a door or sill. But if you don't think you'll be wheeling in lots of rocks etc you might not need the sliders.

The rear Bumper is mostly and issue when you drop off of ledges etc. Since the rear end on the DI sticks out a good bit. for example before and after shots.

Well I dont have a rear bumper at all right now, and I dont do super rocky terrain at all.

So those plates need to go on bottom? I have it set up like this from top down:

Winch > Locknut > Plate > Bumper > Washer > Lock Washer > Bolt

The lock nut sits in the winch for any confusion.

I cant decided between RTE, Terrafirma, or this Tactical Armor Group - Bumper Store

RTE is $732 PLUS SHIPPING
TF is $697 WITH SHIPPING

Yeah put the plates under bolt head to spread the load

Bottom to top should be grade 8 bolt grade 8 washer, plate, bumper, winch, grade 8 nylock nut

Iirc grade 8 is something like 150,000 psi?
