Just wanted to put this out there i just added a magnaflow muffler to my disco and man it sounds sweet i love it and it really helped out on the bottom end power. all it took was cutting the flang off the stock muffler and welding it to the magnaflow then bolted it up had to ad 5 inches to the rear section of the tail pipe welded it together and clamped it to the outlet of the muffler and done took about 1.5 hr $90 and was well worth it. This thing sounds mean im very happy with how it sounds runs and how easy it was. And also the cats have been deleated by the PO and yes it throws a code and with the ultra guage i have to mute the alarm but oh well. im hoping to see some increase in fule millege. sometimes it seems like im getting gallons per mile driving this this thing.

 

0-60 in 3.8... gallons

how do you suppose youre going to get an increase in mileage if the cats have been deleted and the ecu is running with the check engine light on?...

 

depends on what mode it throws it in to or if he suspends the alarm and it stays in closed loop etc. Open loop is the gas guzzling way our cars freak out.


Did you remove the middle or center muffler? I have two on mine was thinking about removing the center muffler and buying the new VT series of mufflers with that valve to reduce droan.
