Default New member come back

good morning everyone

my name is Hernan i am from Ecuador, rover lover all my life, now i got the chance to buy a 1993 discovery 100, blue with blue interiors stock

first of all thanks for letting me be a part of this forum

now let me tell you my problem

first what i have done to my disco and the engine

v8 3.5l
1993 land rover discovery
model 100
4 door
manual transmition
petrol engine

ecu amr3242 replaced
replaced sparkplugs and wires
baterry replaced
voltage on running engine 15volts

has been overheated but overall no visible problems or faults

no codes on the scan

recently replaced gas pump

changed all the fusibles

and cleaned the stepper motor the maf and the water temperature sensor, with a sand paper (dont know if i damaged )

now, it runs perfect when he wants, normally it starts good after 1 turn

nowadays, when i am running it just wont let me acceleratte, no throttle at all and when i stop it it turns off, then i have a lot of problems starting him

after 5 minutes it starts ok

full or with low petrol on, always on a hot engine

i have changed some ecu relays and fuel pump relay also

another ting that happeneds is that when i turn it on and run like 1 minute for a part of a second it stops turns on a light on the dash like a "!" and then it goes normal, and when he wants it just fails starts to run rich smelss like gas a lot, and is very low on power, with counter explosions

happy to know if you can guide me a little i;ve managed to know my disco with the problems but i dont know what to do

greetings

You can also use carb cleaner spray for the stepper motor. You vehicle may have an ignition module near the distributor, these can become heat sensitive and cause problems.. A relocation kit is available.
