Why is Land Rover even thinking about building this new LRX concept car?
Its tiny, actually smaller then the LR2, has big 22" wheels with low profile tires and assumingly ZERO cargo space with only 2 doors.
Thats a Murano not a Rover.

 

Remember this and fairly take it into consideration. At the end of the day, Land Rover Corp is a business and as such it has to sell its product to the larger consumer base if it has any hopes of surviving. It has been quoted that 66%or all LR owners will never take their ride off road. So with that in mind do you not think any business would smartly try to atract the larger percentile to purchase their product? I do not work for LR but I can guess as best as any that LR will continue to make vehicles that will atract the "movie stars" and the "status quo" buyers out there because they make the larger portion of the costumers.

AS LONG AS LR doesn't forget about the other 33% of us and continues to make their vehicles off-road worthy, I'm ok with that. The day they forget us and stop offering off road worthy vehicles for the rest of us, they will loose me as a costumer. But for now, I am VERY happy with their current line up.
