Smile LR Windshield

I have State Farm and they just replaced my windshield, which is heated. Long story short I have a heated screen on my rig and they replaced it no questions asked, no deductible. Here in Florida all insurance companies have to provide for windshield coverage if you have full coverage. That being said, they were trying to put a chinese piece of crap on my truck and went through two windshields in the process as they both cracked. One cracked the day after the install, and the other during the second installation. Two days later they finally decided to put an OEM LR windshield from Pilkington on my rig and it went in without a hitch, no cracks, no worries. Be leary of chinese windshields....

Nationwide doesn't exist here, and state farm is a load of crap here. Been using Geico for almost 14 years for the motorcycles and 7 years for the cars. Only company that gives decent rates up here.

Interesting. I think the fact that I have been with State Farm for over 18 years with little to no accidents, at least none that have been my fault, has something to do with the pretty good rates I get with them. I'll tell you they are one of the best, at least in this area. Nice talking to you.

You live up in Gods country, our largest state, the one with the most natural resources! Where EVERY
Thing is 5X as expensive as it is in the CONUS.

My brother in law, his wife and girls live up there. He is a Coastie, and they LOiVE. Of course, he loves guns too...so the "Wild West"/Last Frontier mentality really works for him.

For me, $25 for a Large Pizza? You must have lost your everloving mind. You almost have to be independantly wealthy just to eat.

On the plus side - thanks to the Exxon Valdez, you can lube your undercarrige just by driving down the beach!

Maybe Nationwide will let me get a policy by proxy for you. Although the Roadside Assistance and towing might prove to be a bi*#h for them...

Seriously

You know, last year I had a new windshield installed at my normal glass shop, 2 days later it cracked top to bottom on the passenger side.
During the original install the glass shop also used compressed air to clean the window frame and knocked down my headliner in the process.
I called my agent, I not only got a brand new OEM headliner installed I also used the insurance companies glass people and have not had any problems since.
I have no idea what brand the first windshield was and I did not ever know they sold Chinese glass here in the US.
But that's America..we want it cheap and we want it now.

That's the truth! I work at Audi and 90% of our clientele is spoiled rotten. They expect everything under warranty, they expect a loaner car valet to their location no matter where so they do not have to bring the car to the dealer and they expect to have their a$$ thoroughly kissed. Makes me sick how little I make to work on these cars.

I am not a Jeep fan but their new radio ad campaign rocks.
"What we make makes us"
Good old American Pride, almost makes me want to buy a Jeep...almost.
