Default +2in Coil Springs

I am looking to buy front and rear sets, originally ordered them off Rovers North, but they only had one of each, and the price was awesome

Anyone know of another site to get a good set of these? Already have the shocks and ready to beef up my 97 Disco

Bet you were looking at yellow springs in the clearance section. They would be better off to throw them in the trash for all the calls they probably get on them

Yep, saw those yellow springs and almost bought them, lol. Not that I need them, but they would get me an extra 1/2" up front. Try Rovers North, Atlantic British, Lucky 8, etc. They all have lift springs. Most owners only go for 1.5-2" of lift, so consider that before buying 5" lift springs and getting in way over your head. Rocky Road Outfitters is also a major reseller for Old Man Emu springs, which are in my opinion the best you can get (yes I put my money where my mouth is, see sig). I think the other three have OME as well.

Someone will say take it out stock and wheel with it first to see if you really need an upgrade. I tend to agree. If you are in it more for looks or simply want to fit a slightly larger tire, you could consider coil seat spacers. They won't give you additional travel, they just space everything an inch or two downward. Their only real advantage is their price (cheap), though they aren't as bad as some people will say. Like I said, if it's looks or tire size you are after, they are an economical option.

Hope that helps, plan ahead with your mods and you won't be disappointed. Fly by the seat of your pants and you'll put too much money into re-work. Good luck!

^ I don't think they are garbage, it's just an overstock or clearance item. Basically if you got them, you would still need rear springs.

The reason I recommended OME is that their springs are not very prone to sagging over time, also their variable rate seems to help with varying terrain. I've got their heavy duty springs on a stock weight D1 with no complaints. Also, please steer clear of Pro Comp shocks, they are not much fun (ride is firm at the wrong times). I'll probably be going to another brand of shocks when I get the money & time.

No body discounts springs because of over stock. Cheap deals are just that cheap, usually slow moving poorly built springs with a bad reputation.
Never buy cheap coils, cause that is what you get. Go to Lucky 8 and buy/talk to Justin about the 2 brands he sells and order per the requirement of your truck, light duty, medium, H.D or in some cases Load rated.

Yeah, I probably shouldn't run the heavy-dutys but I do sometimes tow, and also I plan on adding accessories as time goes on. If you are determined to go that high, I guess +5" Rovertym springs may be reasonable. I mean, you'll already be doing a fair amount of drivetrain rebuilding to support beefy tires, why not go all out? Depending on what "beefy" means to you, you'll still probably need bump stops and/or some trimming.
