I lightly sanded and oiled the cable connectors but only at the battery. I guess I have to go back to work. Yur killin me Savannah but coincidentally everything keeps getting better. I had to switch batteries to get the wifes truck of the side fo the road. I accidentally ended up with the new optima in the D1. That baby starts up fast. Plugs and wires soon. The cease and sludge was a joke for Danny but he didn't get it.

I have the fuel filter ready and meant to take the throttle body off and clean that, but so many mosquitoes.

I also couldn't find that 44K stuff whenever I hit the local chain parts stores; help?

They're the NGK wires and I bet a good EM noise test would show they're as good or better than any 8mm wires. The 8mm is just insulation. Why that is the sole standard people judge spark plug wires on is beyond my comprehension. If the wire, etc. inside the insulation was all the same on every wire set, then the insulation thickness would be enough. However, it is 2011 and I'll take the Pepsi challenge with these wires.

After looking at the sites you posted I most likely will go with a set as well.

I have heard everybody else support the use of the 8mm, I was about to order the Kingsborne based on Spike's referral. I have not really looked into the Kingsbornes yet, I was just going to go ahead and try them.

The web pages about the NGK's construction and their performance and their price with free shipping though I have pretty well changed the choice over to the NGK's.

I had purchased the HD ProLines from RN, but one end pulled right off at the plug when I was changing them recently and I put one of the old Lucas back on. Lately, I started getting a #8 cylinder misfire code P308 and had to put another old Lucas back on to keep it from coming back so I definitely need some new ones quick.
