No Air from control panel
So ive got a 98 discovery and the ac control panel does not work. When i go to press the defrost button( snow flake button i assume) the fan will turn on and run. Now when i change the mode on the control panel and try to change the speed nothing happens at all!! Ive checked fuses and all of them seem to be fine, the whole middle of the dash is torn apart and the wiring all looks good as well. Im not a big fan with electrical work and need some help on what this could be! Thanks!
The snow flake button is the AC. The switch that changes the speed of the fan can go bad. When I turn mine to 4 it cuts out.
What mode are you changing to? When the switch(1-4) is on you should have air blowing. When the snowflake button is on and the dials are set to blue, you should have cold sir. When the dials are set to red it should blow hot.
Maybe you can explain a little more?
