Ok guys,

I have done a few searches on this topic and I have seem to boil it down to the crank shaft sensor but I just want to run it by y'all before I toss parts at her.

First off it has not been on the road in a year as I do some much needed work. I started off replacing front main seal, oil pump, timing chain and gears, water pump, all hoses, fan clutch, new fuel pump, 2 inch lift, and a bunch more.

I have had it running for several months and will drive it down the street every week or two to keep from just sitting. It started just fine yesterday morning, but today when I went to start it and it would just crank and act like it would catch and then just keep turning over. I have fuel at the rail and good battery. I believe I have spark by the way it will catch for a second. So I think the next thing to do is change the crank sensor, am I on the right track here?

I can hear, stop yelling.

Two things to know fo show if it's doing what's advertised - Fuel on spark plugs - spark on spark plugs. If your getting spark that's not the crank sensor, if your not getting fuel it's usually the pump. Have ya checked any fuses?

I checked all fuses under the hood and the one behind the panel in the truck. I tried again to start it tonight and nothing still.

So far I have found out that my coil packs are bad. coil number 1 has been arcing to ground and has destroyed the pack. coil 3 and 7 have very bad corrosion in them. so bottom line is they are all getting replaced. I hope that is the fix.

Uh, I'd say replacement should get you back to running. Never have seen a terminal THAT bad.........
